When my stroke occurred, it dramatically altered my body and a pivotal part of my recovery was discovering Botox treatments.

The Splatt operation was almost 8 months ago and it was right up there with the more challenging part of my stroke recovery journey.

The operation was 3 weeks ago and the surgeon was pleased, but it was an interesting week for me. Two things happened that made me nervous.

I was left with longstanding and permanent disabilities affecting my ability to live independently and living a good quality.

I am 9 years post stroke and I am still looking for ways to be able to function better so this is a quick life and recovery update.
